TAINTED RAIN
Tainted Rain tells the story of David McKenzie, a desperate man, surviving in the ruins of Auckland City. His closest friendship is with a 7-year-old girl, named Taylor, who tells him she is leaving. David then sets out on a journey of discovery, as he fights the demons from his past, to find a way forward.
Noted for its stunning Cinematography, Tainted Rain was filmed in Auckland, New Zealand. Additional filming was also completed in the breath-taking wilderness of New Zealand's South Island. Tainted Rain was filmed between the 3rd of June and the 26th of December 2019, and shot during public holidays and weekends. It is the first feature film by director Daniel Stacey. Cornia Entertainment is gearing up for its next big production. The screenplay has been completed, and we will soon start the search for a 20 to 25 year old talent to make their mark in a short film. A story has been simmering in the background for some time, and due to a series of unlikely coincidences (or fate) it has suddenly become our focus. This exciting new contribution to our film catalogue will challenge everything we have done before, and leave audiences gasping with wonder. Past meets future like never before.
